Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Douro and take the N-222 road. Follow the signs for Miranda do Douro. The drive will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Once you reach Miranda do Douro, follow the signs to 'Aguas Internacionales del rio Douro.' There is parking available near the cruise departure point.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from Peso da Régua or any major town in Douro to Miranda do Douro. Companies like Rede Expressos or others operate routes that connect these locations. The bus ride takes about 2 to 3 hours. Once you arrive at the Miranda do Douro bus station, you can either walk (around 15 minutes) or take a taxi to the cruise departure point at 'Aguas Internacionales del rio Douro.'

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route from Miranda do Douro, you can take a taxi from the bus station directly to the cruise departure point. This will cost approximately 10-15 Euros and take about 10 minutes.

• Walking

  If you are staying close to the center of Miranda do Douro, you can walk to the departure point for the Arribes Environmental Cruise. Simply head towards the river, following signs for the cruise, which is located at 'Aguas Internacionales del rio Douro.' This walk will take around 15-20 minutes.
