Car
From the center of Douro, head southeast on the N-222 road towards Peso da Régua. Follow the signs for the A24 highway and merge onto it. Continue on the A24 for approximately 40 km until you reach exit 27 for Zamora. After exiting, follow the signs for Zamora city center. Once in Zamora, look for parking areas near the Plaza Mayor for easy access to the main attractions.
Public Transportation
To reach Zamora by train, go to the Peso da Régua train station. From there, take a train towards Porto and change at the station at Campanhã. Then, take a train to Zamora. The journey takes about 2 to 3 hours depending on connections. Once you arrive at the Zamora train station, it's a short 10-minute walk to the city center where you can explore the main attractions.
