Bus
From Faro city center, walk to the main bus station, Terminal Rodoviário de Faro, located on Avenida da República. Catch the bus number 16 or 18 heading towards Lagoa. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Lagoa, get off at the Lagoa bus stop. From there, you can either take a local taxi or walk to Benagil. If walking, head southwest on Rua da Liberdade, then take a right onto Rua Dr. José de Almeida before following signs to Benagil for about 30 minutes.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct option, you can take a taxi from Faro city center to Benagil. Simply find a taxi stand or call a local taxi service. The ride will take about 30 minutes and should cost approximately €30-€40, depending on traffic.
Bike
For the more adventurous, consider renting a bike in Faro. Follow the path towards Lagoa, using the designated cycling lanes. The distance to Benagil is around 20 kilometers. It will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your cycling speed. Once you reach Lagoa, follow the signs to Benagil, which is a scenic ride through the countryside.
