Walking
From the center of Tavira, head east towards Praça da República. Walk through the square and take the street that leads you southeast, which will be Rua da Liberdade. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua da Porta Nova. Turn left onto Rua da Porta Nova and follow it until you see the signs pointing towards the Ermida de São Sebastião. Continue walking up the hill, and you will find the church located at Ladeira de São Sebastião 14.
Bus
If you prefer to take the bus, make your way to the Tavira Bus Station (Terminal Rodoviário de Tavira). From there, catch the bus heading towards the Tavira town center. Get off at the closest bus stop to Praça da República. From the square, follow the walking directions provided above to reach the Ermida de São Sebastião.
Bicycle
For those who would like to cycle, rent a bicycle at any local rental shop in Tavira. Start at the Tavira waterfront and head towards Praça da República. Once there, take the road leading southeast onto Rua da Liberdade. Continue along Rua da Porta Nova and up the hill towards Ladeira de São Sebastião. The church will be on your left side once you reach the top.
