If you are in the city center of Faro, make your way to Rua de Portugal. Head east until you reach the intersection with Avenida da República. Turn left onto Avenida da República. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you see the large square, Largo Dr. Francisco Sa Carneiro. The Faro Municipal Market is located on the northern side of the square.
