Walking
If you are in Faro city center, head towards the Avenida da República. Walk straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N125 road. Continue walking along this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the bus station on your left. From the bus station, take the bus number 15 towards Quarteira. Once you arrive in Quarteira, disembark at the stop closest to the Marina de Vilamoura. Follow the signs towards the Marina, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
Bus
From Faro, you can catch a bus from the Faro bus station. Look for the bus that goes to Quarteira. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Quarteira, you will need to walk towards the Marina. The Marina de Vilamoura is located about 1 kilometer from the bus stop. Just follow the signs for the Marina or ask locals for directions.
Taxi
You can take a taxi directly from anywhere in Faro to Marina de Vilamoura. Just find a nearby taxi stand or book one via a ride-hailing app. The journey should take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic, and will cost approximately 25-35 euros. Ensure to mention 'Marina de Vilamoura' to the driver.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Faro. Head towards the N125 road and follow the cycle paths towards Quarteira. It’s about 10 kilometers, and you will enjoy beautiful coastal views on your way to the Marina de Vilamoura. Once you reach Quarteira, follow the signs to the Marina.
