Walking
If you are starting from the Faro Train Station, exit the station and head south towards the main road (Avenida da República). Turn left on Avenida da República and walk straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and cafes. After approximately 15 minutes, you will reach the Praça da República. The Museu Municipal de Arqueologia is located at Praça da República 1, which is on your left.

From the Faro city center, you can take bus number 16 from the bus stop located on Avenida da República. The bus will take you to the stop ‘Praça da República’. Once you get off, the museum will be directly in front of you at Praça da República 1. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes.

If you are at Faro Marina, head northeast towards Rua de Portugal. Continue walking straight until you reach Avenida da República. Turn right onto Avenida da República and head towards Praça da República. After about a 15-minute walk, you will arrive at the Museu Municipal de Arqueologia located at Praça da República 1.
