Getting There

• Bus

  To reach Praia da Coelha from Faro, head to the Faro Bus Station located at Avenida da República. Take the bus number 16 towards Almancil. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Vale do Lobo'. From there, follow the road signs towards Praia da Coelha, which is about a 20-minute walk. You will need to walk along the path that leads downhill towards the beach.

• Bicycle

  You can rent a bicycle in Faro. Start from the city center and make your way towards the Ria Formosa Natural Park. Follow the coastal bike paths, which will take you through beautiful scenery. The ride to Praia da Coelha is about 8 km and should take around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the beach access point.

• Walking

  If you're feeling adventurous and in good shape, you can walk to Praia da Coelha from Faro. Head towards the Avenida da República and follow the road towards Almancil. After about 3.5 km, you will see signs directing you to Praia da Coelha. Note that this will be a lengthy walk of approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.

• Taxi or Ride-Sharing

  For a more convenient option, you can take a taxi or use a ride-sharing app. Simply request a ride to 'Praia da Coelha'. The journey will take around 20-25 minutes from Faro, depending on traffic. This is the fastest way to reach the beach if you're traveling with family or friends.
