From Faro city center, head to the main bus station, Terminal Rodoviário de Faro. You can walk there from the city center, which should take about 10 minutes. Look for the bus that goes to Albufeira, which is well-signposted. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride to Albufeira, which lasts approximately 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival at Albufeira, get off at the main bus stop. From there, you can either take a local taxi or walk to Praia do Castelo, which is about a 15-minute walk. To walk, head west on Avenida da Liberdade until you reach the roundabout, then take the first exit onto Rua da Torre Velha. Follow this road until you reach Praia do Castelo.
