Bus
From Faro city center, walk to the bus station, which is located on Avenida da República. Look for the bus line that goes to Alte, specifically the 'Alte' bus. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Alte, walk towards the center of the village, following signs for 'Queda do Vigário'. It is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike in Faro. Start at the city center and head northwest towards the N124 road. Follow the N124 directly to Alte. The distance is around 20 km and will take approximately 1-1.5 hours depending on your cycling speed. Once you reach Alte, follow signs to 'Queda do Vigário' which is located a short distance from the village center.

You can take a taxi from Faro to Alte. Taxis are available at various points in the city, including the airport and taxi stands in the city center. The ride should take about 30 minutes and will cost around €30-€40. Ask the driver to take you to 'Queda do Vigário' in Alte.
