Awesome way to see the non commercial side of the Algarve!
What a fabulous day we had with the Portitours team! Our guide for the day was the amazing and hilarious George aka Shrooney! (Half Shrek half George Clooney apparently) There was a constant multi lingual commentary loads of laughs all day! If you want to see more of the true Portuguese way of life this is a great snap shot! There were 5 Landrovers with 8 people in each and the terrain was at times interesting but safe! Mountain roads, river beds, tracks all were experienced! We learned about local cross including eucalyptus, limes, oranges and off course Cork! Experiences honey made in the hills, Firewater! (Omg) both of which came home 😂 Had a rustic but excellent lunch Before a lovely trek back to the hotel, via the F1 test track with cars whizzing around on practice laps! Superb experience highly recommended!

We saw a great deal. Great views. The waterfall was the absolute highlight for me. Our tour guide even spoke German.

Family day out
We had a fabulous time with Joao, very knowledgeable of the area. Visiting to pottery was great to see how clay pots are still made in the traditional way there. Overall a great day out so good we booked again. Thanks for the memories.
