From the center of Guimarães, head south on Praça de S. Tiago towards Rua de B. de Alva. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rua de São Gonçalo. Follow this road until you reach the next roundabout, and take the first exit onto Avenida de Dom João IV. Continue straight until you come to Avenida da Liberdade, where you will need to take a left. Follow Avenida da Liberdade until you reach a bus stop called 'Estação de Braga'. Here, take the bus heading to Braga. The bus ride will take approximately 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Braga, exit the bus and walk towards R. Dom Diogo de Sousa. The church, Igreja Misericórdia, will be located at R. Dom Diogo de Sousa 124.

From Guimarães, make your way to the main bus station, which is located near the city center at Avenida da Liberdade. Look for the buses heading to Braga; these are frequent and will have 'Braga' displayed on the front. Purchase a ticket from the kiosk or directly from the driver as you board. Once on board, enjoy the scenic ride, which will take about 25 minutes. When you arrive at Braga, disembark at the main bus station. From there, exit the station, turn right onto R. Dom Diogo de Sousa, and walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach Igreja Misericórdia located at R. Dom Diogo de Sousa 124.
