Metro
To reach Santa Maria de Braga Cathedral from Porto, start by taking the Metro Line A (Blue Line) towards Estádio do Dragão. Transfer at Casa da Música station to Line B (Red Line) towards Póvoa de Varzim and get off at the last stop, which is called 'Braga'. From the Braga Metro station, exit and walk towards Rua Dom Paio Mendes. The cathedral is about a 10-minute walk straight down the street.

Catch a train from São Bento Station in Porto heading towards Braga. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Braga Station, exit the station and walk towards the city center. Head straight down Avenida da Liberdade and turn left onto Rua Dom Paio Mendes. The Santa Maria de Braga Cathedral will be on your right.

Bus
From Porto, you can take a bus from the Campo 24 de Agosto bus station. Look for the bus company Rede Expressos or another local service heading to Braga. The bus ride takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Braga, get off at the main bus station and follow the signs to the city center. Walk towards Rua Dom Paio Mendes, which is a 15-minute walk. The cathedral will be located at the end of that street.
