From the city center, start at the iconic Braga Cathedral (Sé de Braga). Head southeast on Rua do Raio for about 200 meters until you reach the junction with Avenida da Liberdade. Turn left onto Avenida da Liberdade and continue straight for approximately 300 meters. You will see Praça da República ahead, where Chafariz da Praça da República is located in the center of the square.

If you are near the Estação de Comboios de Braga (Braga Train Station), take Bus Line 1 or 2 from the bus stop right outside the station. The buses run frequently and will take you towards the city center. Get off at the 'Praça da República' stop, which is right next to the square where Chafariz da Praça da República is located.

If you are at Parque da Cidade (City Park), exit the park and head south on Avenida da Liberdade. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You will pass through a residential area.
