    You can take the local bus from Guimarães to Porto. Look for the bus stop near the Guimarães train station. Board the bus that indicates Porto as its destination. After a short ride, approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at the bus terminal in Porto. From the bus terminal, walk towards the city center; Praça da Batalha is about a 15-minute walk from there. Head south on Rua de Fernão Almeida and continue straight until you reach Praça da Batalha.

    To reach Praça da Batalha via train, head to the Guimarães train station and take a train towards Porto. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes.
