Walking
If you're starting from the Guimarães Castle, head southeast on Rua de São Bento towards the Largo da Oliveira. Continue straight onto Largo da Oliveira, and you'll see the historic Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Oliveira. From there, turn left onto Rua de Gil Vicente. Follow this street as it merges into Rua da Rainha and then becomes Rua de São Tiago. Keep walking straight, and you'll arrive at Praça de São Tiago, where you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Starting at the Train Station (Estação de Guimarães), exit the station and turn left onto Avenida de Conde Margaride. Walk straight for about 1 km until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit at the roundabout onto Rua de Dom João IV. Continue straight until you reach a T-junction, then turn right onto Rua de São Tiago. Keep walking down this street, and you'll find Praça de São Tiago ahead.
