If you're starting from the Guimarães train station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Avenida de Dom Afonso Henriques. Walk straight along this avenue for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Rua de São Bento. Turn right onto Rua de São Bento, and continue walking until you reach Praça da Oliveira, a central square. From here, take the street to your left, Rua Conde Dom Henrique. Continue walking for about 200 meters, and you will see Dom Afonso Henriques on your right at R. Conde Dom Henrique 11.

From Guimarães city center, you can take bus number 5 or 6 from the terminal at Praça de S. Tiago. Board the bus and travel towards the stop 'Conde Dom Henrique'. Once you get off, walk back for about 50 meters, and you will find Dom Afonso Henriques at R. Conde Dom Henrique 11.

If you are at the Guimarães Castle, exit the castle grounds and head south towards the historic center. Walk down the hill towards the city square, Praça da Oliveira. From the square, take Rua Conde Dom Henrique, and after approximately 200 meters, you will find Dom Afonso Henriques located at R. Conde Dom Henrique 11.
