If you're starting from the Lamego city center, head southwest on Rua da República towards Praça da República. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida de São Pedro. Turn right onto Avenida de São Pedro and walk until you see Jardim das Mães on your left. Continue past the park and take your first left onto Rua de Santo António. Walk straight along this road, and you will soon see signs directing you towards Fonte do Lamego. The entrance to the Fonte is located in Almacave at 5100-070, which is about a 15-minute walk from the city center.

From the main bus station in Lamego, look for the local bus service that heads towards Almacave. Board the bus heading in that direction; it usually runs every 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Almacave stop, disembark and walk towards the main street, following the signs for Fonte do Lamego. It's about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop to the Fonte.
