Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the center of Lamego, start at the Lamego Cathedral (Sé de Lamego). From the Cathedral, head south on Rua da Sé towards the main plaza. Continue straight on Rua da Sé until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto N225 towards Penafiel. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the bus stop for Penafiel. Board the bus heading to Penafiel, and it will take you directly to the city. Once you arrive in Penafiel, walk towards Rua da Aveleda, which is around a 15-minute walk. Quinta da Aveleda will be on your left at Rua da Aveleda 2.

• Bus

  To reach Quinta da Aveleda from Lamego, start at the central bus station in Lamego. Look for the bus service that goes to Penafiel; it should be marked on the schedule. Purchase a ticket to Penafiel. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Penafiel bus station, exit and walk towards Rua da Aveleda, which is approximately 1.2 kilometers away. Head south on Rua 1º de Maio, then turn left onto Rua da Aveleda, and you will find Quinta da Aveleda at number 2.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Lamego to Quinta da Aveleda in Penafiel. Taxis are available in the city center. Simply tell the driver to take you to Rua da Aveleda 2, Penafiel. The drive should take around 20 minutes, depending on traffic.
