Getting There

    If you're driving from Lisbon, take the A8 motorway towards Leiria. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you reach Mafra, take the exit for Mafra and follow the signs to the center. The Mafra National Palace is located at Terreiro D. João V, where you can find parking nearby. Be sure to check for any parking fees.

  • Public Transportation - Train

    To reach Mafra by train, take the Lisbon Metro to Rossio Station and catch a train on the Sintra line to Sintra. From Sintra, you can take a bus (Bus 403) directly to Mafra.
