From the Sintra town center, walk to the Sintra bus station (Estação de Autocarros de Sintra). Look for the bus that goes to Carvoeira. The bus line that serves this route is the number 441. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. You should get off at the stop named 'Sra. do Ó'. Once you disembark, walk towards Estrada da Senhora do Ó. O Guardião do Rio Lizandro is located approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop, near the Bridge Senhora do Ó.

If you are in the Sintra historic center, you can walk to O Guardião do Rio Lizandro. Start at the Sintra National Palace and head towards Rua das Padarias, continuing straight until you reach Rua da Liberdade. Turn left onto Avenida Dr. Afonso dos Santos and continue walking until you reach the bus station. From there, follow the bus instructions above to Carvoeira. Alternatively, you can walk along the scenic paths through the Sintra mountains towards Carvoeira, but this will take significantly longer (approximately 1.5 to 2 hours).
