Getting There

  • Train

    Start at Cais do Sodré station in Lisbon. Take the Linha Verde (Green Line) train towards Cascais. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Caxias station. After exiting the station, head southeast on Avenida da Liberdade towards Estrada do Alvito. Continue straight until you reach Estrada Gibalta, where Cascata da Quinta de Caxias is located. Follow the signs to the park entrance.

    From Praça do Comércio, take bus number 728 towards Caxias. The bus ride will take about 40 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Caxias - Estrada Gibalta'. From the bus stop, walk along Estrada Gibalta in the direction of the ocean. The Cascata da Quinta de Caxias will be on your right.

    Take tram line 15 from Praça do Comércio towards Algés. Get off at the Algés stop and transfer to bus number 728 towards Caxias. After about 10 minutes, get off at 'Caxias - Estrada Gibalta'.
