Getting There

  • Train

    Start at the Cais do Sodré train station in Lisbon. Take the Cascais Line towards Cascais. The train ride will take approximately 25 minutes. You should disembark at the 'Caxias' station. Once you exit the train, follow the signs to the exit which will lead you to a street called Rua da Estação. Walk straight until you reach the waterfront, and you will find Caxias Beach just a short walk away.

  • Bus

    From the center of Lisbon, head to the Praça da Figueira bus stop. Take the bus number 403 towards Caxias, which will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Caxias' stop. After exiting the bus, walk towards the waterfront, which is a few minutes away. Follow the path leading to the beach, and you’ll arrive at Caxias Beach.

    Start at the Praça do Comércio in Lisbon, and take tram line 15 towards Algés. Get off at the Algés stop and walk to the Algés train station.
