Metro and Bus
Start at any metro station in Lisbon and take the Metro to Cais do Sodré station (Green Line). Once at Cais do Sodré, exit the station and go to the bus terminal located near the train station. From there, take the bus number 135 or 153 towards Costa da Caparica. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Costa da Caparica' stop. From there, follow the signs to the beach or the promenade, which is just a short walk away.
Train and Bus
If you are near the Lisbon train station (Estação do Rossio or Estação do Oriente), take the train towards 'Coina' and get off at the station 'Pragal'. From Pragal, transfer to bus number 125 or 127, which will take you directly to Costa da Caparica. The total travel time will be around 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Costa da Caparica, follow the signs to the beach, which is within walking distance.
Ferry and Bus
From Lisbon, head to the ferry terminal at Cais do Sodré and take the ferry to Trafaria. The ferry ride takes about 15 minutes. Upon arrival at Trafaria, catch bus number 145 towards Costa da Caparica. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Costa da Caparica' stop and walk toward the beach, which is just a short distance away.
