Train
From the city center of Lisbon, head to the Cais do Sodré train station. You can reach this station via the metro, taking the Green Line to Cais do Sodré station. Once at Cais do Sodré, buy a ticket to Cascais. Trains to Cascais run frequently, approximately every 20 minutes. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Cascais train station, exit the station and walk towards the main road, Avenida da República.
Bus
Alternatively, you can take the bus from Lisbon to Cascais. From the city center, head to the Praça do Comércio area and look for the Bus 403, which goes directly to Cascais. The bus ride takes about 50 minutes and offers beautiful views along the coastline. Once you arrive in Cascais, you can walk or take a taxi to Quinta da Marinha.
Walking
If you prefer to walk after arriving at Cascais train station, exit the station and head northwest on Avenida da República. Continue straight to the roundabout and take the second exit onto Rua da Liberdade. Follow this street until you reach Estrada do Guincho, which will lead you to Quinta da Marinha. The walk is about 30 minutes.
Taxi
From the Cascais train station, you can also take a taxi directly to Quinta da Marinha. Taxis are usually available outside the station. The ride will take approximately 10 minutes, depending on traffic.
