Start by making your way to the nearest metro station. If you are near the city center, head to the 'Cais do Sodré' station (green line). Once at Cais do Sodré, take the train towards 'Rato' and get off at the very next stop, which is 'Baixa-Chiado'. At 'Baixa-Chiado', transfer to the blue line and take the train towards 'Santa Apolónia'. After two stops, get off at 'Alameda'.

From 'Alameda' metro station, exit and look for bus stop 'Alameda/ Monumental'. Here, board the bus number 718 towards 'Santos'. Stay on the bus for 5 stops and get off at 'Areeiro'.

After getting off at 'Areeiro', walk along 'Avenida Magalhães' towards 'R. do Bojador'. Continue straight until you reach 'R. do Bojador 47'. Lago das Tágides is located on this street. The walk should take around 10 minutes.
