Getting There

• Metro

  If you are starting from the city center, head to the nearest Metro station, either Baixa-Chiado or Rossio. Take the Green Line (Linha Verde) towards Cais do Sodré. At Cais do Sodré, transfer to the Green Line and take it to the end of the line at the Oriente station. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs for the Oceanarium, which is a short 10-minute walk from the station. Head towards the Parque das Nações area, and you will find the Oceanarium located at Esplanada Dom Carlos I.

• Bus

  From the city center, you can take bus 728 from Praça da Figueira or Rossio. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Oriente' stop. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Oceanarium. Follow the signs for Parque das Nações, and make your way to Esplanada Dom Carlos I where the Oceanarium is located.

• Tram

  You can take Tram 15 from Praça da Figueira or Cais do Sodré. Ride the tram toward Algés and get off at the 'Oriente' stop. Once you exit the tram, follow the signs towards Parque das Nações. The Oceanarium is a short walk from the tram stop, located at Esplanada Dom Carlos I.

• Walking

  If you are already in the Parque das Nações area, you can simply walk to the Oceanarium. The Oceanarium is situated at Esplanada Dom Carlos I. Follow the riverside promenade and take in the views of the Tagus River as you make your way to the aquarium.
