Start your journey at any metro station in Lisbon. If you are near the city center, head to the 'Baixa-Chiado' station. Take the Blue Line (Linha Azul) towards 'Santa Apolónia'. After three stops, get off at 'Martim Moniz'. From Martim Moniz, transfer to the Green Line (Linha Verde) and head towards 'Cais do Sodré'. Get off after two stops at 'Alameda'.

From 'Alameda', exit the metro station and look for the bus stop for line 718. Board the bus heading towards 'Cais do Sodré'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Marquês de Pombal' stop. This is a major intersection and a good landmark.

Walking
After exiting the bus at 'Marquês de Pombal', walk towards Avenida da Liberdade. Continue straight, crossing over to the right side of the avenue. Walk for about 15 minutes until you reach a small park area. You will start to see signs for 'Miradouro de São Sebastião'. Follow the signs uphill to the viewpoint, which should be clearly marked.
