From Lisbon, head to the Rossio train station. Purchase a ticket to Setúbal at the ticket counter or from a machine. Board a train towards Setúbal (the journey takes about 50 minutes). Once you arrive at Setúbal train station, exit the station. Walk straight to the nearby bus stop and take Bus 5 or Bus 10. Get off at 'Largo Defensores da República'. The Museu do Trabalho Michel Giacometti is located right at the square.

From Lisbon, you can also take a bus from the Sete Rios Bus Station. Look for buses heading to Setúbal. Check the schedule and buy your ticket from the ticket counter. The bus ride will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Setúbal Bus Station, walk to 'Largo Defensores da República', which is about a 10-minute walk. The museum is right at the square.
