Once you arrive in Palmela, exit the train station and head south on Rua dos Três Reis until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Avenida dos Cavaleiros de Santiago e Espada. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will see the signs for Palmela's Castle on your left.
Bus
From Lisbon, make your way to the Sete Rios Bus Station (Terminal Rodoviário de Sete Rios). Purchase a ticket for a bus heading to Palmela. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Palmela, exit the bus terminal and walk towards Avenida dos Cavaleiros de Santiago e Espada. Follow the avenue for about 1.5 kilometers, and you'll find Palmela's Castle along the way.
Metro and Bus
Begin your journey by taking the Lisbon Metro (Green Line) to the Cais do Sodré station. From Cais do Sodré, transfer to the train towards Cascais and get off at the Alcáçer do Sal station. From there, catch a local bus that goes to Palmela. After arriving in Palmela, walk south along Rua dos Três Reis until you reach the roundabout, then take the first exit onto Avenida dos Cavaleiros de Santiago e Espada for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the castle.
