Getting There

Train
From Lisbon city center, head to the Cais do Sodré train station. You can take the metro (Green Line) from any central station to Cais do Sodré. Once at Cais do Sodré, purchase a ticket to Cascais. The train ride to Cascais takes about 40 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views along the coast. When you arrive at Cascais station, exit the station and head towards the beach by walking straight down Rua Visconde da Luz for about 10 minutes until you reach the waterfront. From there, turn left and walk along the promenade until you arrive at Poça Beach.

Take the metro to the Campo Grande station and switch to the bus terminal located nearby. Look for the bus line 403 that goes directly to Cascais. The bus ride takes around 50 minutes. Once you arrive in Cascais, walk towards the beach by heading down Avenida Dom Carlos I for about 5-10 minutes. Continue walking straight until you reach Poça Beach.

Take tram 28 from any point in the city where you can catch it (like Martim Moniz) towards Campo de Ourique. Get off at the last stop and switch to the Cascais train or bus from there. Follow the same instructions as above for either the train or bus to reach Poça Beach.
