Getting There

• Train

  From central Lisbon, head to the Cais do Sodré train station. You can take the metro (Green Line) to Cais do Sodré. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Seixal. Take the train towards the direction of Seixal. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Seixal station, exit and follow the signs to the waterfront. Walk along the waterfront promenade until you reach Avenida Dom Nuno Álvares Pereira. Praia do Seixal will be along this avenue.

• Ferry

  If you prefer a more scenic route, you can take a ferry from Cais do Sodré to Cacilhas. Once you arrive at Cacilhas, you can catch a bus (Bus 100) towards Seixal. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes. Get off at Avenida Dom Nuno Álvares Pereira stop, and you will find Praia do Seixal nearby.

• Bus

  From the Lisbon city center, you can take the bus from Praça da Figueira or Rossio Square. Look for bus lines that go towards Seixal. The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you reach Seixal, get off at Avenida Dom Nuno Álvares Pereira, and Praia do Seixal will be within walking distance.
