Car
If you are driving, start by navigating to Funchal, the capital of Madeira. From Funchal, head towards the Estrada Monumental (the main coastal road). Follow the signs for Monte and take the Estrada da Serra de Água. Keep driving until you reach Caminho das Babosas. Look for the entrance to Monte Palace Madeira, which is located at Caminho das Babosas 4 e 4A, 9050-541 Funchal. Be aware that parking is available on-site, but it may incur a fee.
Public Transportation - Bus
To reach Monte Palace Madeira via public transportation, take the bus from Funchal. You can catch the 'Monte' bus from the main bus station, which is located near the city center. Look for bus lines 20 or 21, which will take you directly to Monte. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Monte, follow the signs to Monte Palace Madeira, which is a short walk from the bus stop. The bus fare is typically around €2.00.
Cable Car
