If you are in the city center of Guimarães, start at the Praça de São Tiago. From there, head southwest towards the Rua de Santo António. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua de São Domingos. Turn left onto Rua de São Domingos and walk until you reach the end of the street. Turn right onto Avenida de Dom João IV. Continue along this road until you reach the bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Guimarães). From the bus station, take a bus to Porto, specifically looking for buses that go to the 'Praia do Ourigo' or 'Porto Centro' route. After approximately 45 minutes, you will arrive in Porto.

From Guimarães, make your way to the Terminal Rodoviário de Guimarães. Look for the schedule and take a bus that is heading towards Porto. The journey should take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus station in Porto, exit the station and locate the metro station nearby (Bolhão or Trindade). Take the metro line towards 'Casa da Música'. After two stops, get off at 'Casa da Música'. From there, switch to the bus service (line 500) that goes to Foz do Douro. Get off at the stop for 'Praia do Ourigo', which is a short walk from your destination.

Take bus number 500 towards 'Foz do Douro' and get off at 'Praia do Ourigo.' You will find the beach just a short walk from the bus stop.
