Walking
If you are starting from the Ponte de Lima town center, make your way to the main square, Praça da República. From the square, head east on Rua da Alegria, which will take you toward the river. Once you reach the river, turn left onto the riverside promenade, known as Avenida dos Plátanos. Continue walking along the river for about 10 minutes until you reach the bridge, Ponte de Lima. Cross the bridge and follow the road straight ahead, which turns into Rua da Matriz. You will find Igreja matriz de Santa Maria dos Anjos/Nossa Senhora da Assunção at number 14 on your left.

Public Transport
From the Ponte de Lima bus station, take the local bus heading towards the town center. Get off at the stop near Praça da República. From there, walk east on Rua da Alegria towards the river. After reaching the river, turn left onto Avenida dos Plátanos and continue walking for about 10 minutes until you cross the bridge, Ponte de Lima. After crossing, continue straight ahead until you reach Rua da Matriz. The church will be located at number 14 on your left.
