Walking
If you are starting from the main square, Praça da República, head north towards the Rua de 1º de Maio. Walk straight for about 200 meters until you reach the intersection with Rua da Liberdade. Turn right onto Rua da Liberdade and continue walking for another 150 meters. You will see the Mercado Municipal on your left. The Painel de Azulejos is located on the exterior wall of the market building.

From the Ponte de Lima riverbank, follow the path along the river heading towards the town center. As you approach the main square, cross over the bridge (Ponte de Lima). Once you reach the other side, proceed up the stairs to Rua de 1º de Maio. Walk straight for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Rua da Liberdade. Turn left onto Rua da Liberdade, and the Mercado Municipal will be on your left, where you can admire the Painel de Azulejos.
