Start at the Ponte de Lima town center, near the iconic Ponte Romana (Roman Bridge). From the bridge, head east along Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rua da Liberdade. Walk straight for about 200 meters, and you will see the Memorial dos Heróis do Ultramar on your left side, located in a small park area.

If you are near the main bus station in Ponte de Lima, take the local bus that heads towards the center of town. Get off at the 'Centro' stop, which is only a short walk from the town square. From the town square, follow the directions provided for walking from the Ponte Romana, heading east along Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra, and then onto Rua da Liberdade to reach the Memorial dos Heróis do Ultramar.
