From the center of Ponte de Lima, start at the Praça da República, a well-known square. Exit the square and head east on Rua do Comércio. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra. Turn left onto Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra and keep walking. After approximately 10-15 minutes, you will come to the Ponte de Lima Bridge. From there, you can take the local bus (Bus Line 2) towards Guimarães. The bus will take you directly to Guimarães. Once you arrive in Guimarães, follow the signs to Penha, which is a prominent hill in the city, accessible on foot or by taking a local cable car.

Start your journey at the Ponte de Lima bus station located near the center of town. Look for the bus line that says 'Guimarães' on the digital display. Purchase your ticket at the ticket counter or directly from the driver. The bus ride to Guimarães usually takes around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Guimarães bus station, exit the station and follow the signs towards the city center. You can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) or take a local taxi to reach Penha. If you choose to walk, head straight on Avenida de Conde de Margaride and then take a left at the Praça de S. Tiago. Continue uphill until you reach Penha.
