Walking
If you are starting from the Guimarães train station, exit the station and head towards Avenida de António Sérgio. Turn left and walk straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rua de São Domingos. Continue walking straight until you reach Praça de Santiago. From there, head towards the historic center, following the signs to the Castle of Guimarães.
