If you are starting from the historic city center of Guimarães, head towards Praça de Santiago. From the square, take the street called Rua Conde Dom Henrique, which will lead you towards the direction of the castle. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua de São Francisco. Turn left onto Rua de São Francisco and continue walking until you reach the end of the street. You will see a set of stairs leading up to the viewpoint. Follow the stairs, and you will arrive at Vista panorâmica de Guimarães, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the city.

Start at the Guimarães train station (Estação de Guimarães). From the station, take bus number 7 towards 'Serra'. Get off at the stop 'Parque da Cidade'. From there, head up the hill towards the viewpoint. You may have to walk a short distance along the road, following the signs for Vista panorâmica de Guimarães, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
