Bus
From Ponte de Lima, head to the Ponte de Lima bus terminal located near the town square. Look for the bus that goes towards Viana do Castelo, as this will take you close to Darque. Purchase a ticket from the kiosk inside the terminal. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the 'Darque' stop. Once you disembark, walk straight ahead on Rua Diogo Cão for about 10 minutes until you reach Praia do Cabedelo, located at number 224.
Walking
If you prefer walking from Ponte de Lima, start at the main square (Praça da República) and head south on Rua 1º de Maio. Continue straight until you reach the bridge over the Lima River. Cross the bridge and take the left path along the river. Follow this path for about 4 kilometers, enjoying the beautiful views. When you reach the roundabout, turn left onto Rua Diogo Cão, and continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you see Praia do Cabedelo at number 224.
Bicycle
For a more active route, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Ponte de Lima. Start your journey from the town center and head towards the Lima River. Follow the riverside path heading south, which is designated for cyclists. After approximately 4 kilometers, you will reach a roundabout; take the left exit onto Rua Diogo Cão. Continue cycling for about 1 kilometer until you reach Praia do Cabedelo at number 224.
