Start by heading to the nearest metro station, which is 'São Bento' station in Porto. Take the metro line D (Yellow Line) towards 'Hospital de São João'. After about 15 minutes, get off at 'Jardim do Morro' station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs directing you towards 'Vila Nova de Gaia'. You will find a staircase leading down to the riverside. Walk along the riverbank for about 10 minutes, and you will see 'Cockburn's' on your right at R. de Serpa Pinto 346.

From the city center, find the 'Aliados' bus stop. Take bus number 901 towards 'Cais de Gaia'. The ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at 'Cais de Gaia', which is right by the Douro River. From there, walk along the river promenade for about 5 minutes, and you will reach 'Cockburn's' at R. de Serpa Pinto 346.

If you're near the Dom Luís I Bridge, start walking towards the bridge's lower level. Cross the bridge on foot and once you reach the other side (Vila Nova de Gaia), continue straight along Av. da República.
