If you are near the São Bento Metro Station, take the Metro Line D (Yellow Line) towards Senhor de Matosinhos. Get off at the next stop, Trindade. Here, transfer to Line A (Blue Line) towards Estádio do Dragão. Travel for two stops and get off at the Aliados station. From the Aliados station, exit and walk towards Avenida dos Aliados. Continue straight, and you will see the Praça da Liberdade in front of you. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Rua do Carmo.

From the Praça da Liberdade, head southwest on Avenida dos Aliados. After about 5 minutes, turn left onto Rua do Carmo. Continue walking down this street for about 10 minutes. Igreja do Carmo will be on your left at R. do Carmo, 4050-164 Porto. Look for the beautiful tile façade!

If you are near the Mercado do Bolhão, you can take Bus 601 towards Jardim do Morro. Get off at the stop called 'Carmo'. From there, walk back a short distance along the same road, and you will find Igreja do Carmo on your right at R. do Carmo, 4050-164 Porto.

From the Ribeira area, you can take the historic Tram Line 1 along the Douro River. Get off at the stop called 'São Bento'. From there, walk uphill along Rua de São Bento da Vitória until you reach Rua do Carmo. Turn left onto Rua do Carmo, and you will find Igreja do Carmo on your left.
