From Porto, head to the São Bento Train Station. Take the train heading to Guimarães. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Guimarães Train Station, exit the station and turn left onto Av. de Dom Afonso Henriques. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Largo do Toural.

Go to Campo 24 de Agosto bus terminal in Porto. Look for the bus company 'Rede Expressos' or 'Transdev', which offers direct services to Guimarães. The bus ride will take around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Guimarães bus terminal, walk straight along Rua de Santo António until you reach Largo do Toural, which is about a 15-minute walk.
