Getting There

Metro

If you are near the São Bento Metro Station, take the Line D (Yellow Line) towards Hospital de São João. Get off at the Casa da Música station. From there, exit the station and walk towards the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Avenida da Boavista and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Praça de Gonçalves Zarco. The Praia do Castelo do Queijo will be on your left.
Bus

You can take bus number 200 from the Mercado do Bolhão bus stop. Ride the bus until you reach the stop called 'Praça de Gonçalves Zarco.' From the bus stop, walk towards the beach area, and you will find the Praia do Castelo do Queijo just a short walk away.
Walking

From the Ribeira area, walk towards the Dom Luís I Bridge. Cross the bridge to Vila Nova de Gaia and follow the riverside promenade along the Douro River for about 30 minutes until you reach the Muralha Fernandina. Continue walking along the waterfront until you reach the intersection of Avenida de Montevideu and Praça de Gonçalves Zarco. The Praia do Castelo do Queijo will be located at this intersection.
