Getting there

Metro

If you are in central Porto, take the Metro from any station to the 'Casa da Música' station on Line A (Blue Line) or Line C (Green Line). Once at 'Casa da Música', transfer to Line B (Red Line) heading towards 'Estádio do Dragão'. Get off at 'São Bento' station and exit the metro. Walk to the bus stop located near the station and take the bus 500 towards 'Foz do Douro'. Get off at the stop 'Praia do Molhe'. The beach is a short walk from the bus stop.

Bus

From Porto city center, locate the nearest bus stop and catch the bus number 500 towards 'Foz do Douro'. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the 'Praia do Molhe' stop. The beach is right across the street from the bus stop, so just cross over to reach the sandy area.

Walking

If you are staying near the Ribeira district, you can walk to Praia do Molhe. Start at the riverfront and follow the Douro River upstream. Continue walking along the river until you reach the 'Jardim do Passeio Alegre'. From the Jardim, head towards the coastline, and you will find Praia do Molhe located at Av. do Brasil 749. This walk takes approximately 40 minutes, offering scenic views of the river and the ocean.

Taxi or Rideshare

If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi or use a rideshare service like Uber. Simply request a ride to 'Av. do Brasil 749, Porto'. The driver will take you directly to Praia do Molhe, and the journey should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.
