Getting There

  • Metro

    If you are near the São Bento Metro Station (Estação de São Bento), take the Metro Line D (Yellow Line) towards Hospital de São João. Get off at the next stop, Trindade. From Trindade, transfer to the Metro Line A (Blue Line) towards Senhor de Matosinhos. Get off at the next stop, Aliados. Exit the station and walk towards Avenida dos Aliados. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rua de São Filipe de Nery. Turn left onto Rua de São Filipe de Nery and walk for about 5 minutes until you arrive at Torre dos Clérigos.

  • Bus

    If you are near the Avenida dos Aliados, look for the bus stop 'Avenida dos Aliados'. Take bus number 204 or 207 towards Asprela. Get off at the next stop, 'Cordoaria Nacional'. From there, walk up Rua de São Filipe de Nery for about 10 minutes. Torre dos Clérigos will be on your right.

    If you are already in the city center, head towards Avenida dos Aliados. Walk straight down Avenida dos Aliados until you reach the intersection with Rua de São Filipe de Nery. Turn left onto Rua de São Filipe de Nery, and continue walking for about 5-10 minutes. Torre dos Clérigos will be on your right, just before the intersection with Rua de São Bento da Vitória.

    If you are near the Ribeira area, take Tram Line 1 (the historic tram) towards the Carmo. Get off at the stop 'Carmo'. From there, walk straight ahead to Rua dos Clérigos. Turn right onto Rua de São Filipe de Nery, and you will find Torre dos Clérigos a short walk ahead on your left.
