If you are starting from the iconic Dom Luís I Bridge, walk towards the riverfront. As you cross the bridge, you will be greeted by stunning views of the Douro River and the Ribeira district. Once you reach the bottom of the bridge, turn left and walk along the riverbank. Continue walking straight, passing by various restaurants and cafes. After approximately 5 minutes, you will arrive at Praça Ribeira, where Fonte do Cubo is located. To reach Fonte do Cubo via public transport, take the metro to São Bento Station. After exiting the station, follow the signs to the exit towards the city center. From there, continue down to Rua da Ribeira Nova, which leads directly to the river. As you walk along the riverfront, you'll see signs for Praça Ribeira. To get to Fonte do Cubo, you can take tram line 1, which runs along the riverfront. Board the tram at the Infante stop and enjoy the scenic ride. Stay on the tram until you reach the Ribeira stop. Once you get off, walk towards the river and turn left. In just a couple of minutes, you will see Praça Ribeira. Fonte do Cubo is located in this lively square, surrounded by cafes and shops.
