Car
If you are traveling by car from Serra do Marão, start by heading south on the N-101 road. Follow the signs for Amarante. After approximately 25 kilometers, you will reach a roundabout. Take the second exit onto the N-15 road, continuing towards the city of Amarante. After about 10 kilometers, look for signs for Rua do Tâmega. Follow this road until you arrive at Amarante Water Park located at Rua do Tâmega 2245 -909. There is ample parking available at the park, but be prepared for a small parking fee.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, begin your journey at the nearest bus station in Serra do Marão. Board a bus heading to Amarante. The journey typically takes around 40 minutes. Upon arrival at the Amarante bus station, exit and walk towards Rua do Tâmega. The water park is about a 20-minute walk from the station. You can follow the main road, taking a left turn on Rua do Tâmega until you see the park entrance. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may vary.
