Bus
From Setúbal city center, walk to the main bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Setúbal). Look for the bus line heading to Lisbon (Lisboa). Purchase your ticket and board the bus. The journey takes approximately 50-60 minutes. Once you arrive at the Sete Rios bus terminal in Lisbon, exit the terminal and look for the Jardim Zoológico sign. Follow the signs to the Metro station, and take the Blue Line (Linha Azul) towards Santa Apolónia. Get off at the Jardim Zoológico station. The zoo entrance is a short walk from the metro exit.

Train and Metro
From Setúbal, head to the Setúbal Train Station (Estação Ferroviária de Setúbal). Take a train towards Lisbon (Lisboa), which will take around 30-40 minutes. Disembark at the Praça do Comércio station. From there, walk to the Comércio Metro station (a 5-minute walk) and take the Blue Line (Linha Azul) towards Reboleira. Get off at the Jardim Zoológico station. The entrance to the zoo is a short walk from the metro station.

If you're in the central area of Setúbal, you can walk to the nearest bus stop and take any local bus heading toward the Setúbal bus terminal. From there, follow the bus instructions as mentioned above. Alternatively, you can walk to the train station and catch a train to Lisbon, then navigate to the Jardim Zoológico as previously described.
